Meyiwas jersey No1to be retired
In commemoration of Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa, Orlando Pirates chairman Irvin Khoza has announced the goalkeeper’s No 1 jersey at the club will be retired.
He is the second player to be honoured in this way, with former striker Lesley Manyathela’s number 22 Pirates shirt retired after he died in a car accident in 2003.

Kelly Khumalo not allowed to attend Meyiwa’s funeral
I’m sorry but the Meyiwa family is being unreasonable by not allowing Kelly to attend the funeral …. As much as they “dont like her” … This is no “Party” where someone enters by invitation… Kelly should be allowed to attend the funeral because at the end of the day she is the mother of Senzos Kid..

New Cape Town speed camera system
According to my broad band article a new average speed over distance camera system will go live in Cape Town in the coming weeks – an intervention which the city said will compel motorists to slow down.
The City of Cape Town has installed an average speed over distance (ASOD) system on Nelson Mandela Boulevard in its latest attempt to address speeding and promote road safety.
The installation of the system was approved by the City’s Camera Review Committee as it was considered to be the best measure to address speeding along this particular road.
The cameras will become operational later this month October 2014. The image below shows how the system will work.. Now I feel sorry for speed lovers like me who will be receiving a lot of traffic fines 😦

Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates captain Senzo Meyiwa was shot dead by intruders near Johannesburg on Sunday in a case that is again focusing the world’s media on the country’s crime problem. This shortly comes after Senzo helped his team win the game against Ajax CT on Saturday
The Orlando Pirates goalkeeper was shot after two men entered a house in Vosloorus where Meyiwa was visiting, at about 8pm, police said in a statement.
As a pirates fan i am deeply hurt by this incident…. R.I.P Senzo Meyiwa …. You will be missed
